Bitfinex followed suit. Stock exchanges such as GDAX have long been accepting other currencies besides the US dollar. With the launch of the new currency feautures, Bitfinex also announced a 15 percent discount as an introductory fee.

At the moment, however, the minimum deposit for a Euro account is € 10,000 and the transaction fees are (excluding the discount) 0.100%.

It is expected that Bitfinex will soon allow the British pound as another currency.
