What is the Dragoncard?

EX CREDIT SUISSE-BANKER LANCERS CRYPTOCURRENCY DEBIT CARD!

Adam Bryant worked for Credit Suisse for 18 months and for UBS for almost two years. In his new role as CEO of the London Block Exchange, he now launches the much discussed "Dragoncard", a debit card for cryptocurrencies.

What can the Dragoncard do?

This debit card is issued by the London startup London Block Exchange (LBX). This map is based on the British pound and should however have interfaces to various crypto currencies such as Bitcoin, Ehtereum, Litecoin, Ripple and even Monero. This makes it possible to obtain cash at the ATMs directly. In the near future, more cryptocurrencies will be added. This card will be available throughout the VISA network and will be administered by Wavecrest in Gibraltar.

LBX co-founder Ben Dives comments on the Lancierun in a press release:

Thanks to our map, London remains one of the most important financial centers in the world. We want to help make the use of cryptocurrencies the mainstream. The main thing is to break down barriers and help people to invest in the future of money. And cryptocurrencies, we are convinced, are the future.
LBX raised 2 million seed capital at the beginning of the year; from private investors. Ben Dives is best known in the "Digital Founding Scene" as the founder of the "Ideaflip" brainstorming tool. And together with ex-banker Adam Bryant, who has worked for UBS and Credit Suisse as hedge fund manager, the first debit card to support the UK pound and various cryptocurrencies is due to hit the market.

Dragoncard and fees

Each purchase or sale of cryptocurrencies will incur a 0.5% fee. There is also a one-time setup fee of 20 pounds. In addition, the usual fees apply to the purchase of cash, which calculates the company Wavecrest in the VISA network.

Conclusion

Finally, Britain has a debit card that supports digital currencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and so on. Currently, there is only one competitor with the company Revolut, which pursues similar plans.
