Bitcoin accept payments

Bitcoin accept payments
Geographic location concept
Bitcoins is very easy to accept. In any business, bar, cafe or restaurant, Bitcoin's integration can be implemented quickly and free of charge.

One of the reasons why Bitcoin is not so widely used in the mass market is the lack of acceptance on the part of several companies. If more companies would accept Bitcoin, the popularity of the digital currency would automatically increase and people would start paying their goods or services in Bitcoin (BTC).

With this idea in the back of the head, we explain how companies can safely and easily accept Bitcoin.

Payments from person to person

The easiest way is when the customer sends the Bitcoin amount to be paid directly to the company's digital wallet. This works in much the same way as the customer would pay directly in cash.

A customer pays at Burger Bear with BTC by simply scanning the QR code and the amount is automatically transferred.
The payment works with various Samrtphone apps, e.g. With the Bitcoin Wallet app from Andreas Schildbach (Android) or with the Blockchain.info app (iOS and Android). There are also other possibilities for Windows Phones.

CoinBox offers an extended opportunity for businesses. With this app the entrepreneur has only to enter the amount to be paid into the app and it is automatically generated a QR code which only needs to be scanned by the customer. Afterwards, the amount is transferred from the customer to the wallet of the company.

POS solutions

The number of software solutions for companies that accept Bitcoin is growing steadily and there has been almost a small competition among the developers to bring the best solution to the market. The range includes a wide range of POS solutions. We would like to introduce the best known online and offline software solutions here:

CoinKite

CoinKite is a young startup, which handles the Bitcoin payment via terminals already known to us. Each customer knows these terminals from the EC payment. However, the reader only works with CoinCard's debit cards. These are also available on CoinKite. If the customer does not possess a CoinKite card is however also no problem. The terminal can also be used to quickly print QR codes, which then only have to be scanned by the customer in order to transfer the corresponding BTC amount. Another feature of the CoinKite solution is the Bitcoin and Litecoin ATM (ATM) function.
